In this role you will:

Collaborate with Bright Fox AI’s engineering team to design and refine software architectures that bring cutting-edge generative AI capabilities to the energy sector.

Take a hands-on approach to integrating AI-powered solutions into production systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency while navigating the challenges of a dynamic startup environment.

Evaluate and fine-tune AI model performance through rigorous testing, experimentation, and real-world validation tailored to the unique demands of energy-focused applications.

Deploy large language model (LLM)-based applications in production, monitoring and optimizing their performance to ensure sustained value for energy clients.

Stay at the forefront of AI and machine learning advancements, identifying opportunities to enhance Bright Fox AI’s generative AI capabilities and maintain industry leadership.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements from energy companies into innovative, AI-driven solutions that address their challenges.

Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust, scalable retrieval and agent-based systems optimized for energy industry use cases.

Champion best practices in testing, CI/CD pipelines, and quality assurance to ensure rapid yet confident development and deployment of AI systems.
You may be a good fit if you have:

BSc. or MSc. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

High level of coding proficiency using Python.

5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, AI/ML development, including:

Proficiency with production software (Python) and systems design.

Machine learning algorithms and model development techniques.

ML lifecycle tools like MLflow, DVC, Weights & Biases.

Cloud deployment of ML systems.

Professional experience with LLMs and large-scale models.

Very strong software engineering skills with a track record of building scalable, distributed product machine learning systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts effectively.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
